Today in class we took the quote test on the summer reading. If you were absent today, you may take the test on Friday, September, 3rd at lunch.
Our next book will be Kaffir Boy by Mark Mathabane. Although I am not positive, I believe that I can get them for you at a discounted price of $12. Please let me know by Wednesday at the latest if you would like to buy one through me.
Tomorrow we will practice AP-style M/C questions on Wuthering Heights.
Also tomorrow night your vocabulary story is due on turnitin.com before midnight. Some of you have had trouble signing on to turnitin.com. I have contacted their help desk and hope to have an answer to your problems in class tomorrow.
Wednesday we will have a discussion, perhaps a graded discussion, on Nickel and Dimed, and you will publish and submit your vocabulary story, hard copy.
Thursday and Friday, you will write your essay on Nickel and Dimed, and Friday you will turn in your theme journal(s) on all three summer reading books.
