Peeling the Layers off an Onion

Scholars,

Today you confirmed your six week grade in an individual conference with me.

And, just when you thought that it couldn't get any better, you then read and analyzed (rhetorically) a piece from the Onion.

Then ... you began writing a rhetorical analysis.

Tomorrow, some of you will take the SAT.  Morning classes - if you are not taking the SAT, please report to Coach Hopson in the auditorium.  Read a novel, read Macbeth, do something enlightening, but DO NOT irritate Coach Hopson.  (I feel sure that you will not.)   Tomorrow afternoon, we will focus on AP essay writing.

Thursday Act I of Macbeth is due.  I suspect that reading and acting Macbeth will be a splendid experience for us all.

Friday?   Hmmmmmmm
