Ninth graders took a quiz, re-read the amazing story on your vocabulary test, and started reading the Odyssey. Tonight's homework is to write compound sentences with the following words: adversary, appall, avenge, blunder, and din.
Juniors finished their GsTs essays and turned in their books to be graded. We also discussed briefly an article about failure and character education. Tomorrow we will take a final look at Steve Jobs in relation to the description about character in that article. If we have time, you will received your omnivore essays back. Kaffir Boy books are here; please pay me $12 this week or early next. Your first reading assignment is due Friday, November 4th.
