The penultimate day of the school week

Ninth graders turned in homework, started their homework due tomorrow, and read Maus.  Tomorrow you will have a quiz on the following words:  diminutive, feat, harrowing, pacify, textile, dowry, sanitarium, pogrom, systematically, hasty.

Please study the foregoing words, and complete your homework for tomorrow.

Juniors formed a Greek theater, watched me fumble with technology, and read Oedipus.  I will give five points of extra credit to anyone who wears a toga in class tomorrow.

FYI - in your abundant free time, you may want to watch a marvelous documentary on the Oprah Winfrey network tonight - Louder than a Bomb - from 8-10.  It is awesome.

Take care!
