Fourth period took a quote quiz and read and discussed the beginning of "A Modest Proposal."
Fifth period discussed Into the Wild and read and discussed the beginning of "A Modest Proposal."
Assignments for Tuesday, October 2, 2012:
Read and have annotated "A Modest Proposal"; (do not tell me that it is boring or too hard until you have tried to read this for TWO HOURS);
Write all definitions of remaining words on word list (beginning with "endemic"); and
If you were in class on Friday, write three discussion questions for Into the Wild. (If you were in class on Friday, you know on what chapters to focus.) If you were not in class, write FOUR discussion questions for Into the Wild and bring them to class.
Wednesday - Quote quiz and further discussion on "A Modest Proposal"; review PSAT test.
Friday, October 9, 2012 - PSAT-like test.
