TGIF

Today Ninth graders finished their DLA.  Good focus, ninth grade!

AP Juniors reviewed several rhetorical terms and completed a set of AP-MC questions on "Black Men and Public Space."  We will continue to discuss these questions on Tuesday, so please bring your copy of this article if you took it with you.

Also for Tuesday, please read and annotate Frederick Douglass's "Learning to Read and Write."  If you missed class today, you may stop by and pick up a copy on Monday or you may access Douglass on the following link:

AP Seniors discussed the first few pages of our new book The Tortilla Curtain and took a quote quiz, which also included vocabulary words, which you should know.

On Monday, AP seniors must bring their first draft of their essay on The Catcher in the Rye to class.

On Wednesday, AP seniors should have read and annotated through page 142 of The Tortilla Curtain.

Have a GREAT weekend!
