Ninth graders did the following: wrote a three paragraph essay based on loyalty using yesterday's writing as a rough draft; and read ATDPTI.
AP Juniors wrote a page on the benefits and drawbacks of being an autodidact, submitted Frederick Douglass annotations, reviewed AP M/C answers, received a new book, Nickel and Dimed, watched and wrote about a video, and read Zoot Suit.
You all turned in at the end of class: Staples annotations; Staples M/C; Douglass annotations; writing on autodidactism; and writing on the video.

Your assignment is to read and annotate through page 101 of Nickel and Dimed for Tuesday. If you would like extra credit, read and annotate through the end of the chapter, page 119.
Bring your book to class on Thursday and Friday - read and annotate it.
