RIP, Nelson Mandela

Ninth graders did the following today:

First period read our book;
Sixth and ninth periods finished their collages; and
Eighth period finished our book and worked on their collages.

Juniors finished the play Zoot Suit.  For Tuesday, read and annotate through page 221 of Nickel and Dimed.  For Thursday read the "Introduction" and the "Afterword."

Seniors discussed in an animated manner the book The Tortilla Curtain.  Please read and annotate through page 308 by Monday, page 331 by Wednesday, and page 355 by Friday.
