First Period wrote using word association, completed the pink vocabulary review sheet, and read Indian (almost finished!!!).
Sixth and Ninth Periods wrote using word associations, filled in the "part of speech" portion of the pink sheet, wrote a vocabulary paragraph, and worked on a vocabulary project.
Third and Seventh Periods read a NYT article by Charles Blow discussing Nelson Mandela. If you missed class today, the link to that article is copied below:
Students then presented various portions of the article; we will continue to do so Thursday. You also took a quote quiz on Nickel and Dimed. Read the "Introduction" and "Afterword" for Thursday.
