Ninth graders turned in their homework: sentences, story, or illustration. We also wrote on the following prompt: there's a thin line between love and hate. Some classes reviewed vocabulary.
Juniors wrote a prompt on Gandhi's quote "be the change you want to see in the world" and began to learn about rhetorical analyses.
We will have a quote quiz through page 169 of Angela's Ashes on Tuesday AND you will write a rhetorical analysis.
Seniors learned about stalactites and stalagmites (thanks, Keith!) and jihad (thanks, Marquisha!) and took a quote quiz on 1,000 Splendid Suns. Please read and annotate through page 210 for Wednesday. We will likely have an AP-M/C test on Monday.
Have a great weekend!
