Ninth graders received a new vocabulary list and practiced looking up the words in their electronic dictionaries. We then read the article "The Lost Boys" and started a four-square project based on the article.
Ninth graders have homework due Friday - sentences with the vocabulary words that you received today.
Seniors took a test on Act I of Macbeth. Friday please have completely read and annotated 1,000 Splendid Suns and bring five written discussion questions to class. These questions should span the entire breadth of the book. We will have a graded discussion on 1,000, and you will turn in your annotations for a grade.
Read and study and grow strong in your knowledge and emerging skills.
