Seniors attended the NHS induction and then we reviewed a soliloquy from Henry VIII.  You may give me your review of Cardinal Worsley's soliloquy Friday or Monday.

Seniors wrote style analyses on poetry prompts. If you missed class, here are the two links:

Both are questions one on this link.

For Wednesday, you will hand me one poetry analysis and one prose analysis that you have either re-written or written for the first time.

Twos day

Ninth graders took a test yesterday.  If you were not in class, you have through next Tuesday to make up your test.  Today we reviewed the test, write a vocabulary paragraph with three words (catalyst, gangly, and audacious), and completed a sheet of new words.

Today I gave the juniors two pieces of satirical rhetorical analysis to write.  You must give me at least one completed analysis on Thursday.  By the end of this week, I will give you a spread sheet indicating your graded analyses and the analyses that you need to complete.

Seniors wrote a style analysis yesterday and will turn one in to me later this week.  If you will not be here on Friday, you must make the trek to my room on your own time to complete this simple task.

Enjoy this beautiful day!
