Students, please note the following:

AP classes did the following today:

 

Two classes wrote with vocabulary words; and

ALL classes worked on multiple choice questions relating to "There is No Unmarked Woman."

 

Tomorrow, please bring the following:

• A copy of Brave New World if you have one;
• Your HOMEWORK - field work testing Dr. Tannen's thesis about marking women; and
• the article "There's No Unmarked Woman."

Please also note that tomorrow is the LAST DAT to submit the "This I Believe" essay for a late grade.

 

Also remember that your vocabulary homework is due Friday.

 

Last item:  the secret word of the day tomorrow in periods 2-6 is "behemoth."  I will give you five points or a piece of candy if you use "behemoth" in a sentence during the first five minutes of class without revealing why you are doing so.  First person to speak gets the prize.

 

Seventh period played vocabulary BINGO and took several practice vocabulary quizzes.  Your homework this week is to study your words for your vocabulary test on Thursday.
