Received an article to annotate for Tuesday ("Me Talk Pretty One Day"); 

Read and discussed Sedaris's "Big Boy";

Watched and discussed the pros and cons of banning books in schools; and

Wrote a vocabulary rich poem for a warm-up.

Seventh period watched the Reagan news, defined vocabulary from List #3, confirmed your homework assignments, and read Rats Saw God.  You have a reading quiz through page 156 on Tuesday, October 7, 2014.  Your homework (sentences, a story, or an illustrated story) is due Thursday, October 9, 2014.  You will have a vocabulary test on Lists #1, #2, #3 on Friday, October 10, 2014.
