The penultimate day of the school week

Students, please note the following:

AP Students continued their story with the following warm-up:

Warm-up – October 9, 2014 – Enigmas, mysteries, whodunits …
Please add the following to the penultimate section of your story:
Two words from the pink sheet;
One word from the gold sheet; and

Some sort of onomatopoeia, oxymoron, or a polysyndeton (and … and … and).

You also submitted your "A Modest Proposal" annotations for a grade and took quote quiz.  

Extra credit?  Willie Dunlap, are you reading this?  Explain the identify and significance of the "Great Pretender." He was mentioned on the first page of "AMP," to which you can refer via the following link:
