AP studs did the following today:

Received graded work back and wrote meta-cognitively about their writing (3 areas to improve, 3 areas of pride, favorite piece).

We also began reading and discussing an article from yesterday's NYT, "When Whites Just Don't Get It, Part 5."  If you missed class today, here is a link to that article:

Bring this article tomorrow.  We will also discuss your rhetorical analysis of Benjamin Banneker's letter.  You will have a writing assignment that is due Friday, December 5th.

Please finish The Handmaid's Tale by Thursday, December 4th.  You are likely to have an oral quiz.  Your annotations are due, Friday, December 5th.

Seventh period wrote a persuasive essay.  Tomorrow we will start a new book!
