Wrote a complex sentence beginning with a dependent clause and containing a vocabulary word on Socrative;
Note that dependent clauses begin with WABU words (subordinating conjunctions) What, Although, Before, Unless, Whether, After, Because, Until, While, As, That, If, Since, Though.
Started or continued on their "Sources" assignment, on which you should work a little each day.
Leaned how to punctuate titles as follows:
Books (underline or italics) - chapters (quotation marks)
Movies (underline or italics) - scenes (quotation marks)
CD's (underline or italics) - songs (quotation marks)
Magazines and newspapers (underline or italics) - articles (quotation marks)
You also watched a bit of the film Capote and took notes on those scenes. We will continue this with the film Infamous tomorrow. Bring your books and a pen tomorrow.
Dates? Today? Last day to submit annotations through page 248 for a late grade.
Also today you could have submitted annotations through page 302 for a maximum of 110 points.
Monday the 16th - your source assignment is due - turnitin.com by 11:59.
Tuesday the 17th - your vocabulary sentences are due - turnitin.com by 11:59.
Thursday the 19th - discuss the book, all of the book!
Friday the 20th - submit all annotations and take a test on Parts III and IV.
