Today, you all did the following:

Wrote a persuasive essay - timed writing  - on various prompts; and

Heard about the following due dates:

• Annotations through 302 - due Thursday, Feb. 12th
• Last day to recite "Invictus" - Friday, Feb. 13th
• After school film - The Great Debaters - Friday, Feb. 13th
• Source assignment - Monday, Feb. 16th
• Vocabulary assignment - Tuesday, Feb. 17th
• Bring hard copy of vocabulary assignment to class - Wednesday, February 18th
• Last annotations - Friday, Feb. 20th  (note: this is change from what was noted in class; I want you to have your books that evening so that you can study); and
• Test on Parts III and IV of In Cold Blood, Friday, February 20th.

You also endured my diatribe about late or little work.  Why?  Because I believe that a lot of you can do much better.  Great, in fact.  Please consult me or Ms. Weng if you need help with this class.  We want to help you.
