So sorry about the lack of entry yesterday! Let's do triple duty right now:
Wednesday, 25th:
We listened in a few classes to a few jury arguments;
We listened and discussed the different perspectives and apparent ethos of the authors of In Cold Blood and Mockingbird;
We discussed a new writing assignment that is on this blog under the heading "Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire," and
We reviewed a few key elements in the writing style of In Cold Blood.
Please recall the following dates:
Thursday, February 26 - Annotations due and quote test on Parts III and IV;
Friday, February 27th - timed writing - argument essay; you may being a hard copy of your sources assignment if you would like; remember that the printer closes when the bell rings; bring a blue or black ink pen;
Monday, March 2nd - quiz WABU words; vocabulary review; maybe M/C;
Tuesday, March 3rd - Vocabulary and syntax test; and
Wednesday, March 4th - bring a hard copy of your "Liar" writing assignment to class; we'll do turnitin.com by Friday (probably).
