Cough ... cough ... cough ... Congratulations Stanley!!!!!!!!

AP studs were very patient with your coughing, hacking teacher today.

We reviewed the AP test in general and rhetorical analysis specifically today.  You took notes and wrote a practice paragraph.  If you did not submit your paragraph today, you must do so Thursday.  Remember that your paragraph must have the following three pieces of information highlighted in the following colors:

Embedded quote - Blue or green
Description of the effect of the quote on the reader - Pink or orange
Author's purpose - Yellow

Between March 23 and tonight, please earn 30,000 new points on vocabulary.com.  I will check your points tomorrow morning.

Thursday, April 2, your Machiavelli annotations are due.  We will also have a timed writing so bring your blue or black ink pen.

AND t-shirt designs?  Start working and designing - we'll have a contest soon!

No news is good news ...

AP Studs,

You were not seen by me today.

Tomorrow a rhetorical analysis will be reviewed by us.  A synthesis may also be reviewed by us.

Thirty thousand points should be earned by you by tomorrow (Tuesday evening).  The number of points will be checked by me on Wednesday morning.

Machiavelli will be read and annotated by you by Thursday.

A new rhetorical analysis will be written by you Thursday in class, so a blue or black ink pen should be brought to class on Thursday by you.

If seven points of extra credit would be liked by you, this entry should be re-written by you.  The revised entry should be posted on our classroom door by you before first period.

Of course, in the revised entry, passive voice should almost be eliminated by you.
